This course is meant to familiarize “newbees” with the gear, terminology, pests, biology, lifecycle, etc. of honeybees. It’s a good crash course for novices. Due to the time of year, we won’t be opening any hives. However, if you want to start beekeeping next spring, this course should prepare you for that. Graduates of this course will also be made aware of some of the swarm catches Ginnie will be doing next spring and invited to tag along. Class size is limited to 10 students. Prepay to reserve your spot. PayPal, Venmo, cash or check are all options.

Classes will be held at Sweeney Hill Farm
1234 Cliff Amos Rd.
